Hi, Miraculixx
In fact, Scrum itself states that "changing the core design or ideas of Scrum, leaving out elements, or not following the rules of Scrum, covers up problems and limits the benefits of Scrum, potentially even rendering it useless."
(source: https://scrumguides.org/scrum-guide.html)
So it's not correct, that these are mere suggestions.
Scrum comes with a strict and rigidly defined set of rules, practices and ceremonies, and in order to fully claim that you are a Scrum team, you need to be following them.
But I agree - by far most teams are taking small bits of Scrum, and leaving other bits out.
But by definition, it's not Scrum anymore.
So let's not call it that 😊
Flights differ in so many ways, that bringing it to life in its own definition and small specification makes perfect sense to us.
Thanks a lot for your feedback.
